Policies
These apply to every Institute training. They are linked from the checkout and from the registration form, so nobody pays before they have seen them.
Accommodations
Reasonable accommodations for participants with disabilities are available upon request. Contact contact@wbsinstitute.com at least 7 days before the session date.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations made 24 or more hours before the session's start time receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before start time are non-refundable, no exceptions. A reminder email is sent ahead of the cancellation deadline.
If the provider cancels or reschedules a session, registrants receive a full refund or may transfer to another date at no cost.
Complaints and grievances
Concerns about a program should be submitted in writing to contact@wbsinstitute.com, or through the complaint form. The program director will review and respond within 10 business days.
Non-discrimination
Institute programs do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, age, or any other legally protected status.
Attendance, the post-test, and certificates
Full attendance is required for the full hours awarded. Zoom logs when you join and when you leave, and that log confirms your hours. Partial credit is available in quarter-hour increments for documented late arrival or early departure.
Each session closes with a short online post-test of ten questions. Hours are awarded on attendance, and the certificate does not depend on the post-test score.
Certificates are emailed within 24 to 48 hours of the session. Each certificate carries the participant's name, the program title, the date, the hours awarded, the approval number, and the Institute's mailing address, phone, email, and website. Registration and attendance records are kept for at least five years.
Professional education, not therapy
Institute trainings are professional education for clinicians. They are not psychotherapy, and registering for a training does not create a clinical relationship with the presenter or with Well Being Sanctuary, the practice.
Sessions are not recorded.
Your registration information
The details you give at registration (name, email, license type, number, and state, and any accommodation request) are held by the Institute for its continuing education records and used to issue your certificate. They are kept separately from the practice's clinical records and are not shared with the practice.
